How Is Shoe Felt Produced?

One of the body parts that gets tired the most during the day is our feet. During exercise, walking, or situations that require standing for long periods, feet become much more fatigued. For this reason, feet require the most care and attention. By considering foot health, individuals should use products suitable for their foot structure. If you take proper care of your feet, you can avoid problems for many years. In addition to choosing the right shoes, people can also use shoe felt insoles placed inside their shoes to prevent foot problems. Shoe insoles are designed to suit different foot structures.

What Do Shoe Insoles Do?

Wearing high-heeled shoes or completely flat shoes can negatively affect foot health for some people. For this reason, insoles made of shoe felt that help raise the foot slightly can come to the rescue, especially for women.

If you do not walk or exercise with the right shoes, your feet may be adversely affected and you may not get the desired performance from your activity. To avoid these problems, you should make sure to choose shoes and insoles that are suitable for your foot structure.

Shoe felt generally meets the following needs:

It prevents deformation of the foot structure and thus increases the performance of the shoe. In addition to all these features, it also provides solutions to existing foot problems. Using shoe insoles is important to eliminate foot discomfort caused by shoes and to achieve a healthier foot structure.

How Is Shoe Felt Made?

The shoe felt you need is produced in two different ways. The first method uses unused polyester fibers. The second method uses fiber raw materials produced by recycling first-quality PET materials.

First-quality PET is a type of polyester widely used in the textile and packaging industries. Since it is transparent and does not contain dyes, it has a high tolerance for degradation during the recycling process.

It is true that using PET bottles as raw material for polyester fabrics is a better option than using petroleum, because it provides up to a 75% reduction in greenhouse gas emissions compared to virgin petroleum. This significant reduction in greenhouse gas emissions is the main factor behind its better environmental impact. For this reason, we also produce felt from recycled fabrics. The felt we produce is used in the production of shoes, bags, slippers, wallets, and traditional footwear.

Using the mechanical needle-punching technique, we can produce needle-punched felts in the desired dimensions. Therefore, we can create different designs according to the specified width. The felts produced with the needle-punching technique are available in white, black, gray, beige, and cream colors.
